
Xander.Black is a DJ and electronic music producer focused on a minimal, deep and techno-oriented aesthetic, with a strong emphasis on hypnotic grooves, functional progression and dancefloor architecture. His sound is conceived for club environments and vinyl releases, prioritizing dynamics, repetition and long-form tension.
Born in Havana, Cuba, he was part of the early development of the country’s underground electronic music scene. He is the founder and curator of Greenparty – Fiesta Única, a relevant platform within the Cuban rave and club circuit during its active years.
With over 30 years of experience, his musical language is rooted in progressive grooves and rhythmic minimalism, maintaining a sober, functional and timeless identity aligned with DJ-focused releases.
Throughout his career, he has shared the booth with internationally recognized artists and has also collaborated with Maceo Plex on the album 93,contributing to the track Stop That (Original Mix).
Currently based in Barcelona, Xander.Black produces primarily in Reason, with a technical approach focused on groove precision, spatial depth and optimal translation to analog and club sound systems.
With upcoming releases in development, he continues to refine a focused, club-ready and vinyl-oriented proposal within the international underground scene
